what is wind.

Wind is air that is moving. It can be hot or cold and come from any direction.

Where there is a strong wind it means the air is moving quickly.somtimes a strong wind is called a gale and can damage buldings and crops.

When there is a light wind it means the air is moving slowly.Sailers do not like light winds because yachts do not sail wall in them.

We get wind because. Some places are warmer then others. The warm air heats up because light and rises. The cool air moves inot replace it.
